A recent tradition in WRRR is the New Years Day float on the Cedar. We figure that if you start the year boating, you'll boat for the whole year (for one thing, this run pretty much requires a drysuit, which set you up for the rest of the Spring). Also, it's a great opportunity to get out on the Cedar when flows tend to be high.
